Having access to tutorials has fast become an enjoyable way of gaining further insight on a specialised topic. In the world of HPC and Cloud Computing it is no different. As the number of industry events continues to grow so too has the need for industry specialist tutorials. As the high-tech industry of supercomputing and HPC continues to evolve, the demand for industry experts to share their experiences has become an all-import factor for industry exhibitions.
The transfer of knowledge is a value embraced by all at Red Oak Consulting. We believe it is through the sharing of knowledge and expertise that challenges can be overcome, the unknown can become the known and life can become just that little bit easier!

To further demonstrate our commitment to the sharing of knowledge and HPC, in 2017, Red Oak Consulting established our very own HPC and Cloud Computing Seminars. These seminars are an annual event, free to attend and delivered in a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere. With a selection of invited guest speakers from both the supplier and customer side, our seminars have established themselves, as a must go to event. Supercomputing (SC)
Since 1998 Supercomputing has been holding conferences across America. Partnered and supported by all leading industry businesses SC has continued to grow in reach, continents, partners, and overall success. As an annual event, held mid-November each year, it spans several days with varying formats. It houses a showcase floor enabling vendors and suppliers to demonstrate their latest developments whilst giving you the opportunity to speak and liaise with vendors and suppliers. Industry tutorials covering very specific topics, general meetings, supplier / vendor panels, media interviews and so much more are part of the forum.
In collaboration with other industry experts, Red Oak Consulting has supported SC for many years in the delivery of HPC tutorials.
In 2018 two sessions were held at SC in Dallas, delivered by Owen Thomas – Senior Partner & Co-Founder of Red Oak Consulting.

HPC & Big Data
HPC & Big Data was an industry event which took place on 6th February 2018 in London. It was a one-day conference focused on the latest technological advancements in HPC and the impact of big data on efficiencies and R&D.

CIUK
Computing Insight UK (CIUK) is one of the HPC events which is held each year in the UK. Focused on High-Performance Computing this event hosts workshops and tutorials along with an exhibition hall showcasing the latest HPC developments from vendors and suppliers. This event also incorporates a programme of presentations from users who provide attendees with an overview of their real-life experience with HPC.

ISC High-Performance
ISC High Performance, formerly known as ISC (the International Supercomputing Conference), is Europe’s leading HPC conference. Having started in 1986, this annual event continues to grow, every year. Held in Germany, during the month of June, this event spans several days. Exhibitors are on hand to demonstrate technology, showcase developments and answer any questions, whilst presentations and tutorials are held to assist attendees.
